The aesthetics of stainless steel and how it can be processed

Jörn Teipel studied Physics in Bonn, Germany, and at The Ohio State University in Columbus, USA, and obtained his Ph.D. degree in the field of nonlinear optics. As Lead Technical Manager at Outokumpu he is globally in charge of the usage of stainless steel in aesthetical architectural applications from the technical perspective and involved in the development of new surface finishes.

Rob Swift studied engineering at Sheffield Hallam University and obtained a master’s degree in Advanced Engineering and Management. From an engineering background, he transitioned into a commercial role and is now responsible for global project sales in sectors such as aesthetical architecture at Outokumpu.
