We save time, costs, and energy by owning and operating both the mine and nearby smelting facility in Tornio – benefits we are proud to pass on to our customers.
Used in the manufacturing of high performance parts for defense, oil and gas, and aerospace, our metal powders are sustainable, high quality, and customizable. Our spherical metal powder portfolio, which includes stainless steel powder and nickel alloys, can be used to manufacture various parts in different PM technologies – such as Additive Manufacturing (AM), Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP), or Metal Injection Moulding (MIM).
To ensure the highest possible standard of press plates, we handle every step of the production process – from melting and rolling to plate cutting, hardening, and polishing. This happens at our Avesta mill in Sweden and enables us to deliver our customers press plates, hardened plates, and surface plates with exceptional flatness, cleanliness, and reliable parallelism tolerance.
