La gamma Forta include quanto segue: prodotti austenitici e ferritici duplex, serie H e incruditi. Questi acciai inossidabili altoresistenziali consentono strutture più sottili e riduzione del peso.

Acciai inossidabili ad alta resistenza

Forta è associata alla forza. Questa gamma copre gli acciai inossidabili più resistenti del nostro portfolio. Riunisce tre gruppi di prodotti: Forta Duplex, Forta Serie H completamente austenitici per elevata resistenza e alta duttilità e Forta Temper laminati a caldo per alta resistenza e alta durezza.

Forta

La gamma Forta comprende acciai inossidabili duplex, austenitici e ferritici temprati e laminati della serie H che consentono strutture più sottili e riduzione del peso (misurato in Rp0.2 > 350 MPa. PRE 16 - 43). 

L'acciaio inossidabile duplex (austenitico-ferritico) combina molte delle migliori proprietà degli acciai inossidabili austenitici e ferritici: elevata robustezza, buona resistenza alla corrosione e maggiore resistenza alla tensocorrosione (Rp0.2 > 400 MPa. PRE 26 - 43).

Forta DX 2205 (EN 1.4462) è il prodotto duplex più noto che offre un'ottima resistenza alla corrosione uniforme e localizzata e alla tensocorrosione in combinazione con un'elevata resistenza meccanica. Super duplex Forta SDX 2507 (EN 1.4410), con resistenza alla corrosione e resistenza meccanica maggiori rispetto a Forta DX 2205, viene spesso utilizzato in ambienti estremamente corrosivi, ad esempio in condizioni di desalinizzazione, in applicazioni chimiche o sottomarine offshore.

La serie H è costituita da acciai inossidabili completamente austenitici contenenti manganese, ad alta resistenza e alta duttilità (Rp0.2 > 400 MPa. PRE  21). Forta H400 (EN 1.4376) con un contenuto di nichel inferiore ha una robustezza maggiore rispetto agli acciai inossidabili austenitici standard 304/304L ed è una soluzione economica per applicazioni automobilistiche leggere.

Forta H500 (EN 1.4678) ha una microstruttura completamente austenitica e non magnetizzabile con notevole incrudimento dovuto alla geminazione. Con una resistenza allo snervamento superiore a 500 MPa, è una perfetta alternativa leggera per componenti rilevanti per la sicurezza nell'industria automobilistica e dei trasporti. 

Gli acciai inossidabili temprati e laminati hanno robustezza e durezza elevate (Rp0.2 > 350 MPa. PRE 16 - 25). Per incrudimento si intende un processo aggiuntivo di laminazione a freddo controllato che viene applicato agli acciai inossidabili austenitici e ferritici standard e aumenta la resistenza e la durezza superficiale degli acciai. La classificazione della resistenza comprende classi di resistenza allo snervamento da CP350 fino a CP1100 MPa e classi di resistenza alla trazione da C700 fino a C1900 MPa.

L'acciaio inossidabile austenitico temprato e laminato Forta 301/4310 (EN 1.4310) può raggiungere la classe di resistenza più alta. Forta H800 (EN 1.4678) e Forta H1000 (EN 1.4678) sono lo stato temprato e laminato di Forta H500 e non ancora magnetico. Offrono una maggiore resistenza alle parti rilevanti per la sicurezza nelle collisioni e una soluzione a prezzo basso e stabile nel settore automobilistico.

Forta LDX 2101

A lean-alloyed duplex product with good resistance to localized and uniform corrosion, as well as stress corrosion cracking, making it a good substitute for coated carbon steel in e.g. structural components and storage tanks. Also offers high mechanical strength and good machinability.

Forta H400

Forta H400 has higher strength than standard 304/4301 and a lower nickel content, making it a cost-effective and lightweight austenitic product for the automotive industry. It has been used in automotive applications for over 10 years.

Forta DX 2304, Forta DX 2205, and Forta SDX 2507 are listed in EN 10028-7:2007.

European material approval EAM 0045-01:2012/01 for Forta LDX 2101 is available for cold rolled 0.5-6.4 mm and hot rolled 3.0–10.0 mm.

In ASME II-D 2013, Forta DX 2205 (S31803 and S32205). Forta EDX 2304 (S32304), Forta SDX 100 (S32760) and Forta SDX 2507 (S32750) are listed for general use in the temperature range -30 – 316 °C. Data for Forta LDX 2101 and Forta LDX 2404 can be found in ASME code case 2418-1 and 2780 respectively.
