La gamma Outokumpu Ultra è composta da acciai inossidabili austenitici ad alte prestazioni e leghe a base di nichel che differiscono sostanzialmente dai gradi più convenzionali per quanto riguarda la resistenza alla corrosione e, in alcuni casi, anche le proprietà meccaniche e fisiche.

Ultra

La gamma Ultra include gradi austenitici altamente legati che sono progettati per ambienti estremamente corrosivi con valore PRE superiore a 27.

La gamma Ultra comprende i nostri prodotti chiave Ultra Alloy 825 (EN 2.4858), Ultra 904L (EN 1.4539) e Ultra 254 SMO (EN 1.4547), nonché diverse alternative, ad esempio Ultra 654 SMO (EN 1.4652): l'acciaio inossidabile più resistente alla corrosione al mondo, per le tue applicazioni più specifiche.

La gamma Ultra è la scelta migliore quando si necessita di materiale per ambienti estremamente corrosivi dove gradi standard quali Core 304L/4307 o Supra 316L/4404 non sono sufficienti per le sfide di corrosione della tua applicazione. 

Gli acciai inossidabili della gamma Ultra non sono solo eccellenti nella resistenza alla corrosione, ma le loro proprietà di robustezza e allungamento sono simili o migliori rispetto agli acciai inossidabili austenitici convenzionali. L'aggiunta di azoto ai gradi Ultra, ad esempio Ultra 254 SMO, conferisce loro maggiore resistenza allo snervamento e alla trazione. Nonostante la loro maggiore robustezza, questi acciai offrono ottime possibilità di formatura sia a freddo sia a caldo. Gli acciai della gamma Ultra sono particolarmente adatti alla saldatura e su questi prodotti possono essere applicati gli stessi metodi utilizzati per la saldatura degli acciai austenitici convenzionali.

Le applicazioni tipiche per i gradi della gamma Ultra sono:

  • industria chimica e petrolchimica
  • pulizia dei gas di scarico marittimi
  • scambiatori di calore
  • applicazioni che richiedono resistenza per acqua di mare clorurata.

Ultra Alloy 825 è una lega a base di nichel austenitico stabilizzato con titanio utilizzata nell'industria petrolifera e del gas in sistemi di tubazioni, attrezzature per raffinerie di petrolio e sistemi di servizio di gas acido. Ultra 904L è utilizzato nelle attrezzature dell'industria petrolchimica quali tubi, scambiatori di calore, serbatoi e contenitori di reattori. Ultra 254 SMO è adatto ad applicazioni che richiedono resistenza all'acqua di mare clorurata, pulizia dei gas di combustione, pulizia dei gas di scarico marittimi, nonché ad attrezzature per lo sbiancamento nell'industria della cellulosa e della carta e a flange e valvole.

Ultra 904L stainless steel

Ultra 904L is a high-nickel and molybdenum austenitic stainless steel with very high corrosion resistance. It was originally developed for handling sulfuric acid at ambient temperatures, and is now used in a broad range of chemical industry applications.

Ultra 254 SMO stainless steel

A 6 % molybdenum and nitrogen-alloyed austenitic stainless steel with extremely high resistance to both uniform and localized corrosion. This product was developed especially for oil and gas offshore platforms and the pulp and paper industry.

Ultra 725LN stainless steel

Ultra 725LN is a type 310 material (high chrome and high nickel) that has been developed and optimized specifically for urea production, which demand extremely high corrosion resistance. It has similar general pitting resistance to Ultra 904L.

Sanicro® 35 nickel base alloy

Sanicro® 35 is the latest addition to the Outokumpu Ultra range bridging the gap between high performance stainless steel and conventional nickel base alloys. This new grade has excellent corrosion resistance in combination with high mechanical strength. Due to its leaner alloying concept Sanicro® 35 can be an attractive and cost competitive alternative to nickel base alloys with similar properties.
