How did Finland become the Land of Technology exhibition at the Museum of Technology
Finns are often identified as engineers and quick adopters of new technology. Outokumpu is one of the partners for the exhibition at the Finnish Museum of Technology opening today in Helsinki, Finland. The new permanent exhibition tells the story of Finland from the technology perspective – from raw materials and production to infrastructure and reuse. Come and see how technology is part of our daily life and how it has shaped our society.
The exhibition is part of Finland’s 100-year anniversary this year. Outokumpu’s history is as long as that of Finland, and our operations and technology innovations play a role in the history of the country.
At the same time, the museum will publish a scientific publication “How Finland became the land of technology” (“Näin Suomesta tuli Tekniikan maa”).
