How we are organized

Outokumpu is organized into four business areas – Europe, Americas, Long Products and Ferrochrome. Business support functions support our business areas with global processes.

Outokumpu organization strcuture as of January 1, 2018Business areas are responsible for sales, production and the supply chain of our products. Our sales organization is market led, with strong focus on key customer segments and an efficient regional sales network. Our sales are supported by a highly effective supply chain, and our world-class mills that produce top-quality stainless steel efficiently and cost-competitively. Our four business areas are:

  • Europe (coil and plate in the European, Middle-Eastern, African and Asian market)
  • the Americas (coil and plate in the Americas) and

Business support functions – HR & organization development, Finance, Business Transformation & IT and Communications, Marketing & IR – support business areas with global processes. The Outokumpu Leadership Team comprises of the leadership of the business areas and business support functions.
