The following announcement applies to our U.S. and Canada business
Effective with shipments beginning January 1, 2023, Outokumpu Stainless USA, LLC will implement the following
price adjustment:
- Continuous Mill Plate (CMP) for thickness < 3/16" will be reduced by $11.00/cwt (adjusted to the same level as other CMP thicknesses).

July 1st 2022 price announcement
The following announcement applies to our U.S. and Canada business.
Truck freight costs continue to rise and the impact of over the road trucking continues to add to road congestion and detract from our shared responsibility towards sustainability. As a result, Outokumpu will apply standard full truck freight to all deliveries, effectively eliminating all freight subsidies. At the same time, Outokumpu will eliminate the fuel surcharge. These truck freight standards will be reviewed quarterly and adjusted as necessary. Over the course of the upcoming weeks, the Outokumpu sales team will develop a plan with customers who desire more economical and environmentally sustainable transportation methods, such as rail, barge and intermodal.
Outokumpu is committed to the elimination of consignment programs. However, there may be cases where consignment or roll and hold programs may be appropriate to best serve our customers. When programs like this are contractually agreed, Outokumpu will implement an extra of 2% of the all in price (excluding freight) to account for the cost of capital associated with the program. This percentage will be reviewed quarterly.

May 1st 2022 price announcement
The following announcement applies to our U.S. and Canada business.
Effective with shipments beginning May 1, 2022 Outokumpu Stainless USA, LLC will implement the following price adjustments.

430 Cold Rolled material will have a 3-discount point reduction.

All other 400 series Cold Rolled material will have a 4-discount point reduction.

Gauge Adder extra on all series except 200 Series & 301 Grades as following (refer to section 3 in Extras Schedule):
- G - Gauge Adder (20 gauge to 22 gauge), an increase of $2.00/cwt a new total of $16.00/cwt.
- H - Gauge Adder (23 gauge to 22 gauge), an increase of $2.00/cwt a new total of $20.00/cwt.
- I - Gauge Adder (25 gauge to 29 gauge), an increase of $4.00/cwt a new total of $24.00/cwt.

Alloy surcharge announcement
The following announcement applies to our alloy surcharge.
With the London Metal Exchange (LME) publishing official prices for days with interrupted Nickel trading, Outokumpu Stainless USA is using the official settlements of the April surcharge. This is in accordance with our normal surcharge calculation and the same methodology used in calculating our raw material prices. The value of the LME Nickel period from February 21 to March 18 is $13.22 or $29134.63/mt.

March 1st 2022 price announcement
The following announcement applies to our U.S. and Canada business.
Effective with shipments beginning March 1, 2022 Outokumpu Stainless USA, LLC will implement the following price adjustments.

Cold Rolled material will have their discounts reduced by 1 discount point on 200 series.

Cold Rolled material will have their discounts reduced by 2 discount points on the following grades:
- 301 grades
- Other 300 series, except 304, 304L & 316L.

Cold Rolled material will have their discounts reduced by 3 discount points on 430 grade.

Cold Rolled material will have their discounts reduced by 4 discount points on all other 400 series.

200 Series and 301 Grade Gauge Adder (18 gauge and lighter) will change from $18.00/cwt to $22.00/cwt
(refer to section 3 - F in Extras Schedule).

Elimination of all discounts applied to Polish and Rolled On finishes.
