AvestaPolarit is planning structural changes at its Tubes and Fittings businesses.
 
Since AvestaPolarit's formation in 2001 it has been possible to utilise existing capacity within the Tubes and Fittings businesses more efficiently. The main objective of these changes is to improve competitiveness and make production even more efficient.

Negotiations according to the Finnish Law on co-determination at work will start immediately and will affect JARO units in Jakobstad and Vetil in Finland. These units currently employ a total of around 300 people, of whom approximately 50 will be affected.
