Avesta Sheffield AB's sales company in Lithuania, UAB Avesta Sheffield, is to acquire the stainless steel distribution business from UAB Triasas in Kaunas, the second largest city of Lithuania.
Triasas, which has 7 employees, including the three current owners, is a leading distributor of stainless steel and aluminium products. The company has a turnover of around USD 1 million.
The acquisition is part of Avesta Sheffield's drive to reinforce its position in the fast-growing market in the Baltic region.
