The task of the Group Executive Committee is overall management of Outokumpu's business. Committee members have extensive authority in their individual areas of responsibility and their duty is to develop the Group's operations in line with the targets set by the Board of Directors and the CEO. The Group Executive Committee consists of seven members appointed by the Board of Directors. The members of the committee hold the positions of the CEO and the Deputy CEO, Executive Vice President – Specialty Stainless, Executive Vice President – Supply Chain Management, Executive Vice President – Group Sales & Marketing, Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer, and Executive Vice President – Human Resources.

The Group Executive Committee typically meets twice each month.
