Andrea Gatti, the Corporate Vice President, and former head of Group Sales and Marketing has decided to leave Outokumpu at the end of 2009 to stay closer to his family and interests in Italy. Most of this year Andrea has been working with strategic corporate projects. His duties will be assumed by the Deputy CEO, Karri Kaitue, and his team.

Andrea's contributed to the Executive Committee’s work through his deep knowledge of the stainless industry and his passion for customer focus. I really enjoyed working with Andrea and want to wish him all the best in the future."
