Representatives of the global forest industry will gather in Stockholm for a key international trade fair in late May – the SPCI 2008 World Pulp & Paper Week. This event gives an opportunity for suppliers to the industry including materials producers to showcase their products and services to a wide range of pulp and paper specialists.  

Pulp and paper machinery and equipment manufacturers are major users of stainless steel and an important customer segment for Outokumpu. Outokumpu has been serving the manufacturers over a long period of time and has built and maintained long-term partnerships with a number of key actors in the industry. As a supplier of an exceptionally wide range of stainless steel products, including duplex and other special grades, Outokumpu will continue to be a key materials supplier to the industry and possesses the know-how to meet customer needs as new trends emerge. Outokumpu’s duplex grades have exhibited great potential and made breakthroughs in pulp and paper equipment.  

At SPCI 2008 World Pulp & Paper Week, Outokumpu will be exhibiting the company products and solutions for the industry. The solutions include prefabrication such as bending and forming, edge preparation for welding, grinding to the desired surface finish, and many others. Outokumpu materials selection experts will be advising industry representatives on selecting the best and optimal materials for different applications and process environments. There will be representatives of coil, plate and tubular products, R&D, and sales and marketing on hand at the Outokumpu Booth no. A35:10.
