The Outokumpu Leadership Team is responsible for the overall management of Outokumpu’s business, and its duty is to develop the Group’s operations in line with the targets set by the Outokumpu Board of Directors and the CEO. Meet the members of the Outokumpu Leadership Team and Board of Directors.

Outokumpu announced on April 5 its planned new organization set-up which included three business areas - Europe, Americas and Long Products. Read more about the planned organization. The planned organization is to be effective as of June 1, 2016, and current organization and responsibilities remain valid until then. From the beginning of the year, Outokumpu has reported its results according to the new reporting structure.

At the moment, Outokumpu is organized into five business areas:

Each business area is represented in the Leadership Team with sales, production and profit responsibility. Group functions support these business areas to ensure efficient global processes. Additionally, legal, strategy & sustainability and internal audit departments report directly to the CEO.

Group functions include:

  • CFO’s Office (Financial reporting, Business controlling, Treasury and risk management, Tax, Corporate affairs & compliance and Investor relations)
  • CTO’s Office (Technology, Material flow optimization, Strategic investments, Energy, R&D and research centres, General and Raw material procurement)
  • Human Resources, IT, Health & Safety 
  • Communications & Marketing
