You are intended to use our online application system to make an online-application for a job in our company. We point out that the disclosure and processing of personal information is necessary. Your consent for collecting, processing, using and saving your personal data in compliance with the data law is mandatory. This Privacy statement informs you about arrangements that are important when you are using our online application.

Please read the instructions carefully before using the online application process.

If you do not agree with the procedure in whole or in part, you should not use our online application system.

Outokumpu pays a special attention to the protection of your personal data. We ensure with technical and organizational measures that your data is protected from accidental and intentional manipulation and unauthorized access. That is the reason why we  transfer your online application encodes by using the state of the art technology.

The Privacy Statement applies to the online application process of the whole Outokumpu Group.

Legal basis

The Outokumpu Group will collect, use and storage your personal data in compliance with the data protection laws of the country that is accessing the data, as well as the Privacy Policy of the European Union.

The purpose of the data collection

Outokumpu  collects, stores and uses the information and (personal) data you entered in the online- application- system data only for the purpose of recruitment and search for  candidates who suit in  our company.

What data is collected?

On the following pages we collect the information and personal data which are absolutely necessary and needed for the online application procedures at Outokumpu.

Where and how long is the data stored?

The Outokumpu Group will store your data in online applicant management system that corresponds to the data law. This system is managed either in-house or outside the company.

If you have entered your information and personal data in our online application system, your personal data cannot be stored anonymously. The reason for this is that your data must be accessible to the personnel department.

Applying for a specific vacancy

When you are applying for a specific vacancy, usually we store your data and documents up until the final appointment to that post, unless we get a result of your profile to the conclusion that your application might be interesting to other divisions or companies. In this case we store your information in our application management system for 6 months, so we can also take up at a later date with you.

Unsolicited Application

For a speculative application, we store data not longer than 6 months.

Disclosure the application to third parties?

The information you provide will be treated confidentially and only within a group company of those people passed that deal with a concrete application process. Your information may be disclosed to other companies only after your separate, explicit consent.

Rights of the user

Access right, editing and deletion of your resume

You can view, change or delete your resume at any time. You can also ask us to help you doing it. Therefore you have to send an e-mail to our data protection officer. You find the email address under the heading "questions and suggestions regarding data protection".

Please, understand that the modification or deletion of data during an ongoing application process and for a period of about three months after an ongoing application process (for legal reasons especially in Germany) is not possible.

Consent

This website does not use permanent cookies.

IP addresses

Within the framework of the statutory provisions, we store Internet Protocol addresses (IP addresses) in log files for a strictly limited period only, insofar as this is necessary for technical and security purposes. We compile anonymous statistics to record the number of visitors to our website (traffic), but we do not create individual user profiles or link these to information which may be used to identify an individual. We subsequently delete this information.
