General procurement is part of Outokumpu Supply Chain Management Europe organization and responsible for the sourcing of all investments, general materials, services and transport (excl. raw material). We are currently looking for a Head of Indirect Services and Investments who will lead the team and the categories. The role will be based in one of the European Outokumpu offices with international travel requirements.
Responsibilities of the job:
Leading and managing category group categories
Communicating business requirements and strategic goals within the category group
Managing category spend and supporting the supplier management with most relevant suppliers
Leading the negotiations and completion of contracts of significant spend in the category
Driving cross-group synergies and identification of new cost reduction opportunities
Leading and coaching the international team
Master’s degree in business or technology
At least 10 years of experience in commercial negotiations
At least 5 years of experience in leading multicultural teams
Strong negotiation skills and managing commercial relationships
Outstanding leadership and communication skills and ability to influence and convince others
Expert skills in change management and in evaluating breakdown of costs of purchases
Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
Fluent in English both verbal and written
