We are looking for a General Ledger Team Lead to the Global Business Services Center in Vilnius.
•Overall responsibility of process team
•Training the team, especially new tasks
•Manages, supervises and leads the team to ensure proper staffing, work allocation, staff performance, motivation and development
•Functional delivery of process area (about 50% of the role)
•Manages work allocation and the performance appraisal process for all team employees; conduct team member development discussion
•Support and drive process development;
•Manage stakeholder relationships to achieve maximum alignment and business value;
•Participate in projects related to supplier changes and process improvement;
•Ensure timely reporting of KPI’s;
•Works in partnership with Function Manager and team to ensure continuous improvement and proactive development mind set in process
•Contribute to the task of ensuring that under performance issues are managed according to relevant guidelines
•Acts as escalation point and supporting body for team member and customer question
•Execute tasks as per defined in the division of work, query resolutions
Requirements of the job
•University degree is desired (not obligatory), educational background in accounting/economics is an asset
•Significant experience in various financial/accounting positions in SSC environment desired
•Team lead experience or willingness to expand to supervisory position
•Prior transition experience is considered an advantage
