What job should I do? Can anyone offer me proper training? What about real on-the-job experience? Where can I get the sort of training that will help me in the long term? Something I can build on later? Well, there may be lots of unanswered questions at the moment, but one thing’s for sure: it all boils down to your first step – choosing the right training. Perhaps a solid apprenticeship with a company that knows how to train people.
A vocational apprenticeship at Outokumpu is the ideal start to your career. We have different locations in Germany. Between them, they are currently providing young people with detailed on-the-job training in different vocational disciplines. Most of them will stay with the company after completing their training. If they want, they can also receive additional training as they develop in their career. This qualifies them for other fascinating areas within the broader company.
It makes no difference whether you want a more technically-oriented career or want to move in a more “commercial” direction. An apprenticeship at Outokumpu offers two components which work together perfectly: the theoretical side (mostly the part you learn at vocational college) and the practical side (on-the-job work experience, in different units, workshops, and departments within the company or at our training center). You’ll get plenty of opportunity to work on live projects and solve business tasks with co-workers from other business disciplines.
These are our apprenticeships:
Cooperative Engineering Education/Industrial mechanics
