Back in mid-July 2006, leading global pump manufacturer Grundfos was faced with an unexpected and alarming shortage of stainless steel flat products. The pump manufacturer supplies to both domestic and industrial markets, so getting the right materials for the job is critical.

The solution

Grundfos contacted Outokumpu, one of its key suppliers, who was able to help even in the difficult market.
