The end uses in this segment have a common requirement, namely a need for a long lasting aesthetically pleasing appearance that can withstand the elements. In addition the nature of these products means that they require a high degree of toughness.
In response Outokumpu has developed a range of solutions that make full use of our extensive production and application’s knowledge in corrosion resistance and toughness and combine these steel grades with an extensive range of surface finishes. As such if you are designing lighting columns in the Middle East or require a very high aesthetic standard for airport walkways, Outokumpu have the products to suit. In addition, Outokumpu recognize the need for a high service element that allows material to be available at short notice and our package can include local services such as polishing or cutting to size.
